Earlier this month, Sustainable Group earned itself a listing in the London Stock Exchange Group's of 1000 Companies to Inspire Britain. Following swiftly on its heels, the regional business magazine Lancashire Business View has just named us in its Annual Hot 100 list.
The list, which appeared in the July/August edition of the publication, features Lancashire's hundred most profitable small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs.)
Following a period of strong and sustained growth, the holding company behind Sustainable Group (UK) Limited has been named in the London Stock Exchange Group's list of 1000 Companies to Inspire Britain.
Between 2010 and 2017, Consummate Investments achieved an almost five-fold increase in turnover, adding approximately £12m to its annual balance sheets. As a result, in July 2018, it was named in LSEG's latest list of inspiring British companies.
In addition to being chair of Sustainable Group, Derek Horrocks is also chair of the strategic board of the National Insulation Association (NIA). In this capacity, he has been involved in some important developments, a number of which will take effect this year.
Last year, Sustainable Building Services (UK) Ltd earned itself a mention in a major governmental report into energy efficiency measures in the social housing sector. Now, just less than 12 months later, SBS has again featured as an exemplar of industry best practice.
SBS is currently delivering external repair works for Denbighshire County Council, and a range of insulation and re-roofing works for Wrexham County Borough Council. These frameworks recently gave us the opportunity to deliver some added social benefit in the form of two local charity fundraising initiatives.
